This is the first post of the ‘Weekly reports’ category. This post is aimed to outline my achieved tasks for this week and plans for the next week.
This week I completed the following tasks:
Personal website deployment
- Configured the repository structure on GitHub Pages.
- Figured out Hugo and the structure of the content.
- Prepared the first Markdown files for biographies and interests.
Adding information about myself
- Uploaded a profile picture.
- Wrote a short description (Biography).
- Added information about interests and education.
Blog posts
- The first post-report has been created.
- Published a post on Git with examples of commands and processes.
Conclusions
- Hugo is convenient for quickly creating static websites.
- Markdown makes it easy to edit text and add new sections.
- The deployment on GitHub Pages went smoothly.
Plan for next week
- Add a “Skills”, “Experience” and “Accomplishments” sections.
- Publish a post on Markdown markup language.
